We checked into your Hotel for the Coldplay Concert, Our daughter and partner who had originally been coming couldn't make it so another daughter came with her partner. We had paid the $1700 for both of the rooms NOT the daughter. Because one room was put in the first daughters name and the 2nd room in our name we were told we had to contact the first daughter to verify that it was ok for our other daughter to stay in the room. Which we thought was absolutely nonsense. We were told we had to ring our daughter but she works and cannot always take a call. So then we were told we had to email Booking.com to have both reservations put into our name. Which we did. On arrival at the Hotel by our daughter she was told that the room wasn't available due to the above. Then it all seemed to be ok. I mean to say the rooms were both paid for weeks ago by US. We are 68 & 67 and have just toured Europe for 3 months and stayed in many beautiful Hotels but never had any hiccups like this. We felt quite deflated to be fair

Really beautiful hotel
We paid so much money for 1 night to only get a ridiculous view. When you go to book the hotel it shows the viaduct area, but when we had arrived in the room we were looking at people who were in the offices. So whoever books Sofitel make sure you message them to double check the room view.
